There are two boys that live across the street from us. my three daughters can't go out without me because they harass them and hit them. One of them already got in trouble for molesting another neighbors daughter. Boys these days I don't know what's wrong with them, but they aren't protective or polite or appropriate with girls their ages whatsoever anymore. When we where kids the boys would get an ass whooping by their dads. Not anymore. Parents of boys don't care anymore. it's a damn shame
I think you should always confront the parent first. Nobody should speak to my child like that.

My daughter had a black neighbor boy she used to play cars with when she was young. Another neighbor boy who was older came and started smart mouthing my daughter's friend and calling him derogatory names and threatening to beat him up. I went out on our porch and laid into him, and told him that I was going to d o his mother everything he's threatening my daughter's friend with. He left immediately. There is no room in my world for bullies. It was a lesson for my daughter, too.

I had a kid five years older and twice his size slap my grandson when he was six and I can tell you I was out that door like my butt was on fire and in that kids face and I told him that shi! isn’t gonna happen and the kid actually sasses me back and comes right up in my face and I told him flat out. I’ll just call the cops and have you arrested and screw up your life for the rest of time. Haven’t seen him in the neighborhood since. Don’t mess with Grandma!!!
I once said if this kid hit my granddaughter (during a game). And the coach father did nothing. I looked at my son and said promise you got bail money cause I’m gonna get that dad. My granddaughters now say “bail money” if I’m fussing at a driver or something. Btw I’m a 68 year old lady but you don’t mess w my grands.

I thank God my sons were never easy to bully. Quite the contraire. They defended kids and now as adults they carry that value as I taught them I did in school. I don't like bullies. I was very popular and became friends with bullied kids in order for people to stop bullying them. It made a big difference in those kids life in school. It worked. years later I saw one and said to myself "I created a monster". 😂 she had a don't mess with me attitude and didn't recognize me. I didn't say hi though.
My daughter has epilepsy and had a manager bully her. I put a stop to that real fast.

I agree 100%, because we were Mama bears and nobody messes with our Cubs and they never will no matter how old they get or you get anyone that has that feistiness will never be truly as old as the number says hahaha it never gets old but you know what my kids stand up for me when I am with them nobody can be rude to me I mean they put them in their place not by fighting but by words and they leave like a wounded dog it's funny sometimes my daughter will come up behind the person and I won't even know I was in a bar and somebody put their hand very high on my thigh my daughter saw it and literally all by her little self kick the guy out of the bar and all the balancers were clapping cuz they didn't have to do a damn thing LOL

I did the same thing, only I called the kid's mother and told her I wanted to talk to her daughter about her bullying my 7year old. She got the kid on the phone, and I said the same thing. Then, I spoke to the bus driver and had the little brat moved to the seat right behind the driver. That solved the problem.

I've told mine not to start anything and to walk away if you can. Im raising 3 of our grandchildren and taught them the same thing. I also taught them how to fight and not this shoving and wild swings but how to hurt them so they will know they don't want to try it again.

Good job, Mama Bear! I am teaching my grandsons to be gentlemen. They are respectful of everyone. They open doors for women and help those who need a hand without hesitation. Children need to be taught etiquette. Our society is devolving into a bunch of rude, entitled, slovenly people. GRANDMOTHERS, step it up and teach your grandchildren to be ladies and gentlemen. They will get attention for living life as well behaved human beings. It is better to get attention for positive actions than negative actions.
