She is a fool to even say his name I don’t want your man
I been calling everyone babe, honey, sweetie, sweetheart. Just outta ❤️ for ppl. Glad I ain't been shot down 👍
it's a southern thing
it's a southern thing and a lot of people don't understand that it's just a term of endearment you're going to get baby, darling ,sweetie, honey& hun all day long
Hun-nayyyy,I don't care what part of the south you from, it is still disrespectful!!So I turn the mf tables,I tell my husband no your gonna correct her very tastefully and if he refuses then I'll probably have lunch with his co-worker and share some of his most intimate secrets!!! So men stop letting these woman disrespect yo women cause if your girl anything like me ,trust you gon have some sleepless nights !!!😆
She's a little insecure to think about waitress is trying to steal her man lil
Customer is right. Southern or not, sir is most appropriate.
Wow, she’s extremely insecure. Everybody knows that in the south you call everybody baby. She was not hitting on him and if she’s that worried then maybe she’s too insecure to be in a relationship.
Looks like “he” was raised right. Very polite but definitely embarrassed. If not already married ………………………… - been married 47 years - I would be wary of her insecurity.
The Hispanics call all women and little girls mama what’s the difference
Get over it girl , it a southern thing , babe , hun , sugar , sweety , if you didn’t hear it You’d think you pissed your waitress off
She ain’t playing about her man activities😂😂😂😂😂
How insecure lol
what if she calls your man, Poppy?
TikTok is outdated love it here I’m a new fan on this app I’m friendly trust me 🥰
yeah no one wants yo man 🤣 calm down 🤣
Gng yall it’s js a skit they even did a skit where the Latina girl was the waitress as a joke
You know what I work in the restaurant industry and I call everybody honey baby sweetheart, hon and to be honest yes I have had people correct me and say this is my name not babe or so-and-so so I tried to watch what I say now
I think waitresses direct it to the men for a better tip. It feels manipulative to me. Baby or honey or sweetheart means she’s fishing for a big tip😆
when I worked with the public I always called everybody hun or babe and I had some lady tell me not to call her husband hun because I was not his wife so I just look better and said okay hun you have a good day
I don’t see anything wrong in calling him baby 😂
Yeah, it started with the flirtation thing back in the 40s for tips and it’s gotten worse and worse and worse and now it’s considered every day is socially acceptable what you’re calling him, honey baby sweetheart these are not socially acceptable terms! These are disrespectful and only introduced for the ploy of tips and it’s been that way for close to 100 years minus a decade and a half!
Girl u that insecure?? And telling a southern lady not to call someone baby is like telling a Trump supporter not to support their daddy Trump. They ain't gonna stop.
I take it she has jealousy issues.... if you don't want to fit into the southern hospitality way of life, don't live in the south and don't stop for food in the south, because it's going to happen at every place you stop at.... just saying.... I've been called: "baby, honey, sweety, darling", every time I've gone into a business with women waiting on their customers.... It's the southern way.... just saying....
The question should have been: Do Y'all need anything else? Leave the "Baby" for men you know. Women have a way of being cunning with remarks.
Out of spite I would’ve said “Oh I’m sorry…Max baby you need anything else?”
I feel you girl. His name is Max
Well sugar, he's the man that's probably paying for the meal. So sugar my wife when she was living worked as a waitress, she's only being polite if y'all are down South. Besides she made good money and she came home to me. So don't get your panties in a wad sugar 😎
And then the waitress said" bless your heart." Southern thing complete. 😆
I better stop saying it cause I always call ppl baby
She said I do not want your man!!👏🏽😂
1. she interrupted them to say that. 2. she was not treating the girlfriend the same at all
Must be from up north and she’s jealous LOL
she was way nicer than I would have been!!!
Its a genuine hospitality and respectful thing. it means "I got your back nice person"
That’s just a young insecure woman
That is not a Latina thing, its a possessive rude woman thing. The waitress sounded 60… he is yours today, but he wont be if you keep acting like this!! Psycho!!
It’s a wonder you could even understand her cause some waitresses on the south you can’t
I'm from the south and hon , is not acceptable anymore. 💕
Insecue????? No she's territorial !!! Latinas gaurd what's theirs ! 🥰
I love the waitress...saying I don't want your man...get over yourself and your man...lol
I dont care for that either. not mad about it but certain terms should be kept for certain situations. I've actually asked , am I your baby ? lol 😆. throws them off every time lol
I say sweetie honey darling hun sugar. some time baby it a southern thing get over we dont change because how u feel we speak the way we were taught. polite respect if yr true southern girl. I told her I didnt ask fur his name didnt care to know it now can I help u
It looks like your girlfriend’s got some major issues trust issues
It makes me feel special. I love the attention, especially if you're dealing with my food. Just a southern thing.
I love how the waitress told her " sorry I don't want your man" 😂.
I have never called anyone honey, sweetheart, or baby unless they were really my honey, sweetheart, or my baby. I don't like people that much to give them terms of endearment. Sir, Ma'am, and Miss are the proper ways to address people. 👍
She totally embarrassed her man, Matt
I love when a old southern women be talking to me like that it makes my day
That was cute
bless her latino heart
It is a southern hospitality thing. I’m southern and I call everyone darlin and baby doll
“If I call someone baby…. I do not want ur man”😂😂😂
Oh sorry baby 😁
She sounds like a grandma bro 😭
She too forward 🥰😭😭
I lived in va an honey it is a common thing for people to call u honey baby sweetheart it's just a thing they do no need to get ur panties in a bunch 😂😂
I bet you a million dollars that woman's in her 50s or 60s. Southern hospitality rules
Insecure much (I love southern hospitality)
Somebody's a little overprotective ..
He will find out the hard way that she has set him up like a bowling pin. Just wanting someone to take care of her and keep her up and will be jealous of anyone she thinks is a threat.
Goody!
She should know better. In Spanish most of us say cariño to everyone which means love
Sir and ma’am
Insecure.
yea, baby you are in the south
yelp
When your insecurities hit hard😂😂😂
Girl, nobody wants him but you.
