that salon owner is a saint. she handled it perfectly and she is 100% correct but also regardless of whether or not "she likes heat in her daughter's hair" her father is allowed to make decisions in regards to HIS child as well. I’ve been in this situation too many times. I sell eyeglasses and had a mom bring her son in and purchase designer frames. Dad calls freaking out that he didn’t agree to this. The kid was already wearing them. Like this is between you and your ex wife. Honestly I would be embarrassed to even try this. Also had a wife do the same thing after husband had glasses rushed. A 60 year old man had the phone ripped out of his hand when I called back. She didn’t want to pay for a rimless mount frame. I was like maybe you should come with him next time and hubby needed to grow a set.

1st, ex's responsibility 2nd, was child already told no by mom 3rd child's age there is a lot more to this story. maintenance for the hairstyle and custodial timeshare. the stylist bears no responsibility, there was parental consent. might be a case of daddy irresponsibility. I don't know how much maintenance tinsel takes, but if daddy is a weekend parent he should have discussed the issue with custodial parent. did Mom already say no and child was playing mom v dad game. So much we don't know
