He was contacted at least 25 times. It's on him for not checking that everything was ok. My phone started blowing up while I was in a work meeting. That was highly unusual. I excused myself. Called back. My cousin had been talking to my mom thought something was wrong. Turns out mom had a stroke. Luckily, it was minor and she recovered. If I hadn't responded it would have been much worse.
