Schools made theses rules because of the fights, arguments and conflict. The students couldn’t control their adolescent hormones and unable to process the consequences. The type and troublesome extensions to foul and inappropriate writing/drawing on shirts was disruptive. Obvious solution: NOT IN SCHOOL. As a former h.s. and college teacher, solutions limited as professional standards are no match for adolescent immature tempers. Had to b and I am a HUGE believer in free speech and school order.

Instructors at any school, whether high school, college or university, should respect the students options of freedom of speech. To send a student from class is a violation of the student’s rights. Such violations should be taken seriously and the dismissal of the instructor/ teacher/ professor should result in suspension and termination..
