this a joke. My son is on Autism Spectrum and he knows what she meant? He doesn't have his memorized but he knows how to read it to them off his card. He is 20 now. I taught him how to use his bank card, balance his account and we are working on budgeting his money.

This is so funny to me. Because I get both sides of the conversation being a millennial. Early childhood was being raised by the people that had never before had internet or major technology since ever in human history. Now as an older millennial I can see the generation raised on the new technology that had never before existed in history. The older generation thinks the newer one is totally useless because they don’t know what their “social” is. Meanwhile the younger generation already has the capability to find any information in human history in a matter of moments and the older generation can’t even login to their email. How did you not teach your kid how to make phone calls that are important? I figured out pretty much every adult task by paying very close attention, but I will always point out that you need to actually teach your kids things instead of just make fun of them for not knowing. The expectation to learn by osmosis from arrogant adults is tiresome! Teach your kids how to take care of themselves, it's your responsibility. Making fun of your own kid through filming and posting on the internet for clicks when you should be ashamed for raising someone who is completely helpless.
