It makes me wonder how they can get the right strength for the lenses because obviously the baby can’t answer any of the charting questions but I’m thankful that these professional ophthalmologist are able to help these precious babies see! Bless them all!! This just warms my heart!!
I’m 31 years old and been mostly blind my whole life. Just this year finally got adult health insurance and got specialized hard lense contacts. And can see the world, my wife, my kids…… I’m so happy for this lil one. People take good vision for granted.
The lenses are pretty thin for someone supposedly "almost blind." When I was little baby the Drs told my mom I was almost blind and needed glasses. The lenses were so thick as I got older I was embarrassed to wear them. So I went without seeing much for YEARS until contacts were announced to the world. I've been wearing contacts since 1976! It's the best thing they could have invented!! 🥰👍
