He's not an antenna repair man. he's just a base jumper. Parachute gear would be much too heavy to drag all the way up there, plus his tools.

You are not by yourself
$375 an hour. It takes 3 and a half hours to climb at a steady pace. If not then five hours of steady climbing
just imagine jumping and then realizing you left something on the tower you need and now got to climb back up lol

It should actually be a requirement for people who work at those heights. Those two guys that died in Texas on the wind turbine could’ve had a major chance if they would’ve been prepared like that.

I do anything tower oriented for work, 11 years, at least in America it's illegal to jump/parachute off communication towers. It's probably a thrill seeker. It's a good thing he didn't have a gust of wind hit him because those guy wires would slice him.
