Mandatory minimum sentences lead to unfair and harsh outcomes in courts. If I could change one law, it would give judges more discretion to consider each individual's circumstances. #CriminalJustice #LegalReform #Oklahoma #

I would like to say one thing being that I’m a ex addicted myself. The prison system can’ do more with convictions of addicts. Build a treatment center right in the prison and give them good time for good behavior if they pass the course. After all, they have nothing to do while they’re in prison, except play games cards, and watch television and an occasional fist fight. It would save the taxpayers for bringing this person back to jail and spending tons of money just for him to sit on his bed and relax until the next time he goes back out and use drugs again, but then again if they do this, the prisoners will be empty and they will have no job…. I’m just saying.
Eddie Warrior is full of girls, mothers who should be home raising their children. My granddaughter was on fentanyl , and her baby accidentally got a hold of something that someone else dropped in her apartment. It was a complete accident, the baby survived, and my granddaughter is doing 5 years for a violent crime. The baby never stops looking for her mother. She's about to be four years old, and really needs her mom. So many other children need their mama. The treatment really needs to be something like narconon does. Most of the treatment centers just change the drugs that they are on. Narconon doesn't use drugs at all. These girls need help. Programs should be in place to accommodate the children that suffer because of their mother's incarceration. These sentences punish the children more than anything else. I absolutely agree with this. Thank you for speaking out.
imagine if you changed the culture that produced it. wow
what about blacks in the eighties is all I'm saying common sense only comes out white whites get caught up in the judicial system.
they need those high paying do nothing jobs
