I have a family who started raising chickens as a responsibility project for my kids. It has become the best thing we have done and everyone is happier now than ever before. We are starting to sell fertilized eggs so others can experience it as well. Make sure you have a coop and run first and you will be in Heaven! Most people are surprised at how much personality chickens have and how funny they are to watch. We raise Silkies, Polish Black French Marans, Frizzle Cochins, California White, Cornish, Light Brahma, etc. and they are all bantam so they don't get any bigger than a small dog. I want to record our journey with them and my kids.
