Robert Webster, born May 17 and raised on Parks Avenue in Waxahachie, Texas, is the Founder, Owner, and Executive Director of KoolWalk Records, a label whose name was inspired by the signature walk people have complimented him on his whole life — a walk so smooth and unique that folks often said it was the coolest they’d ever seen. That confidence, identity, and authenticity became the foundation of the KoolWalk brand. A graduate of Waxahachie High School, Robert grew up as an only child in a home deeply rooted in ministry. His mother, a minister and evangelist, taught him early what it meant to know God, shaping his character and guiding his purpose. Today, Robert continues that legacy as a minister at House of Prayer in Fort Worth, Texas, where he faithfully gives God all the praise. Music has always been part of Robert’s life. He played tuba in both marching and concert band and later played drums at Macedonia Church in Ferris, Texas. In 2012, he began creating music under DC Records, a label he formed with Christopher Reagor. Though the venture never launched, the dream stayed alive. In 2025, Robert officially founded KoolWalk Records, and in 2026 he released his debut album Outta Control. His follow‑up project, Startin Trouble, is also set to release in 2026. Robert’s professional journey reflects discipline, service, and resilience. He began working for the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office in 2005, entered the security field in 2012, worked for Whelan Security, and later served with TDCJ in 2014. Alongside his music and ministry, Robert is also the owner of Robyn’s Janitorial Cleaning Services, originally founded in 2012 by Robin Stewart and entrusted to him in 2025. Family is central to Robert’s life. He is the proud father of eight children — Jacob (2005), Robert Jr. (2008), Jayda (2009), Jordyn (2012), and four stepchildren through his marriage to Ashley Webster, whom he married in 2023. Ashley is not only his partner in life but also an artist on KoolWalk Records. Robert was previously married to Jacklyn Webster in 2006 and divorced in 2014, a chapter that strengthened his faith and resilience. Through every challenge — from personal trials to professional setbacks — Robert has overcome obstacles with determination and grace. Living with a speech impediment, he stands as a powerful example that no disability can stop a God‑given purpose. His life message remains simple, real, and rooted in experience: “Keep living, you’ll see.” And through his ministry, music, and leadership, Robert continues to walk in purpose — cool, confident, and guided by God.
