So while i think this whole thing is sick and disturbing, this video is misrepresenting some things. The parents didn’t put locks on the OUTSIDE of their children’s doors for protection, they added locks to the girls doors on the inside so the girls could lock them before they went to sleep or were changing, etc.. That’s entirely different than locking your children into their rooms so they can’t get out even if there was a fire. Two VERY different things actually.
I think that the whole family is seriously disturbed.

The original Dugger parents put locks on the INSIDE of the bedroom doors and told the girls to keep their doors locked at night! Kendra put them on the OUTSIDE!! You don’t lock kids in their rooms where they can’t get out!!!!
I feel sorry for all of their daughters who were being forced to sleep behind locked doors in order for them to feel safe from their father all because they weren’t taught to respect their sister or daughters from themselves! Jimbob and Michelle Duggar fell there daughters and granddaughters by teaching them to locked the girls doors to make sure that their brothers or father weren’t molesting them.

So with Josh the parents had been having the girls and boys sleeping in the same bedrooms. How stupid once they were out of the little kid age. Their house always looked big enough to me to separate them better than that. Kinda fishy and strange. A lot of kids, but when you plan on squeezing out a bus load of kids, then you plan on making safe choices for those kids before they pop out!
That remains to be seen what the long-term consequences will be.
