Take it at face value. The company doesn’t value you as an employee. Doesn’t value you as a Black woman, first. What they’re doing is called ‘playing in your face’. Question is do value yourself? I had the same complaint about my company! They celebrated Asians, Hispanic, veterans, LGBQ, Nurses week, Diabetes month, Breast Cancer, But not a MF’ing thing on black history month. NOTHING!! Makes me sick, and no MLK day was a holiday but they stopped recognizing it.
