there was a party, a dayshift party I am nightshift worker. nuclear power plant in Kansas, Burlington Kansas. I had to take that night off,a Sunday night, boarding in a small town. So, I remembered that party 80 people, bon fire BBQ, lots of beers,these were outage workers. well 01;45 it was just me and 3 day people. one AR 02:10 hours drove his truck into a lake. it sunk,I ran down I took off my boots and hit the water. No light,No moon light it was starlight. someone called 911, I swam out, I went down found the guy,drown I pulled him up now 60 people, No one would get wet,just telling come on,your almost here,I ask for help,No help.60 people. I went under 4 times before I got him to the dock.handed him up. am I done? fck No,No one knew CPR?? So, I gave him CPR,he started breathing. November Kansas, COLD. No one would bring us blankets, HE died of Hyperthermia..R.E.D..U.S.M.C. 🙏
