How stupid..so the teacher or professor has you create art, I'm sure that sculpture took a bit of time, and then they expect you to destroy it? Why not use freaking Play Do to create the sculptures if reg clay is so expensive that it must be used again and again . Or use papier mache, I know when I've made mini sculptures using paper mache and paper towels the sculptures look beautiful, but when they dry they change, they look different, they dry creating bumps and crevices, etc.... do it that way, just have big buckets of papier mache mash!
What's the fucking point of creating art that is just subsequently destroyed? That's not art, that's just a waste. I may not know anything about art, but I know plenty about destruction.

I totally understand as they will need to feel the texture in order to create and they will break down scriptures more then a thousand times in this field its really not a big deal
