I was at the gas station and a woman came in shouting that there was something wrong with her mother. I am an RN, I went outside and she was confused and drowsy. I asked her daughter if her mom was a diabetic, she said yes, then I asked if she had eaten this morning, she said no. I ran into the gas station store and grabbed an orange juice container. I was going to hurry and pay for it but the clerk waved me out. I gave her several sips, then EMS arrived. They checked her blood sugar, it was 39. The EMT continued giving her the orange juice. I wasn't needed anymore so I left

This happened to me once. Instead of a low blood sugar I had a low alcohol content. 3 beers fixed it.

I once found a little old man at the exit outside of Walmart hanging from his basket with knees on the ground, insisting that he needed to get to his car. I immediately dialed the non emergency line and told the dispatcher what was up. A unit arrived followed by an ambulance and I was sent on my way. The cop was actually smiling because it wasn't the usual shoplift calls he's used to..😆

I had this happen to me in wal mart. everything went black. my husband ran and grabbed a soda, got me to sit on thier bench, and about 15 minutes later I was able to walk to the car.
