I loved Columbia House Records. They called it just mail. Ha! I asked my daddy if I could mail a penny and pick the cd’s. He didn’t think they’d send them. I got to pick 20 and some bonus ones using those little stamps. When that 1st box came my parents were so happy with my picks, I was in charge of the Columbia House Records. They even came up in the divorce negotiations. I got to keep the cd’s and my daddy’s boomin ass system.
My granddaughter thinks I am BS that their was a time before microwaves, you used the oven to warm up leftovers, and making popcorn was a lot of work.

I remember this, got a bunch of CDs myself. then they started asking for money, threatening me with the law if I didn't pay them quick. I told him I was 13, and asked if the law applied to me in this instance. I never got another CD from them, or any correspondence......
I used to do that with Columbia house too. But with 8 track tapes. Shows you how old I am. 😆
