This is just devastating. I had heard nothing about this, as I don't watch TV . But I hear about headlines and stories that gain traction: on this? Crickets. That lynching are on the rise, but not being reported by the legacy news outlets leaves me sick to my stomach. I had look into the subject on my own to find reporting. One I found gave the statistics on the rise in lynching of black men on the rise since the current, demonstrably racist administration has been encouraging this type of hate crime and others. I am female, white, and 65 years old. maybe the rise in visible racism needed to come to a head, so like pus from an infected wound we can find the right antibiotic to eliminate this hatred at its source. Because violent and hateful racists are just that: the disgusting pus from the infection that we call white supremacy.
