When I use to come home crying from getting beat up by the bully my mom would always say, "Fight the bully". So I finally did. Several of them. No more bullying.

I agree my daughter was expelled from school because she was being bullied we told her to tell the teacher and principal things got worse they didn't do anything so I told her to take care of it which she did with enthusiasm thete for she was expelled and im in a lawsuit with the school for them not taking action to prevent this from happening

I’m 66 and in the 60’s my mom told me to always hit back because even if you lose the fight the bully would still forever remember that you will won’t just take it. I never got into a fight. Just knowing that you can defend yourself instills a certain confidence.

My dad taught me: I don't want you to throw the first punch, but you damn sure better be the one throwing the last one. He expected us to stand up for ourselves just as much as he expected us not to start the fight. Fair is fair.

I never had to stand up yo a bully. I had 3 older brothers. The youngest of them 13 months older then me...he had my back. He could take on 3 guys at once and come out on top. So everybody knew if you bullied me you would be showed to never do it again. I had my son work with my brothers in the summer, so he could see how a man defends any female that gets picked on.
