I'm "Madman Mike". When I turned on the "New Time Machine" for the second time after the first test got me arrested. I had to test it on myself before they came for me. I ended up in another human consciousness in the same year of 1997. I don't know how else to explain it but my body never made it through. All I know is that I felt like I was falling from the sky and seeing everything happen so quickly but there was no physical body, only consciousness. I couldn't react because it was that quick. When I was falling my consciousness went into another body which was a 9 year old boy. I'm 38 now. So when my consciousness went into the body it suddenly felt like I woke up from a bad dream. Standing in the middle of a gravel road at dusk. I was crying and looking around and very confused.

so here's the problem with a stationary time machine. if its not made for space, you'll die. the earth is constantly traveling through space. if you build a time machine and wind up in the same space without proper consideration for the trip, we'll RIP.

that's where you're wrong. it takes you to a place and "time". so yes without the date, potentially yes you end up in the middle of space, but most time machines have a date button as a place button.
