Growing up in foster care, I can say one of the best moments of my life, was when my foster father told me he was proud of me as an adult. He wasn't one of those warm fuzzy people. He told you like it was. He worked hard and taught me if I wanted to break the cycle. I was gonna have to work for it. So through all the families and experiences I went through was really meaningful for me.
