I know exactly what you were talking about. A year and a half ago my wife and my first son was killed by an illegal immigrant driving on the wrong side of the road while he was on meth. The judge let him go. and I Was told me to be quiet about it. That came from congressman that came from attorneys that also came from the board of attorneys in the state of South Carolina. I am not happy with my State at all and I’m trying to get a letter to the president to offer him three laws that would stop all of this. If I could just get him to look at it But no one will help get this done

It's more about the money. The system knows that repeat offenders will continue to offend, and therefore keep crime stats up and, therefore, federal funds to fight it. So, the system, on the state level, will continue to release those types of offenders in order to keep their coffers full.
