This is not impossible they are add on compartments bolted to the roof via roof racks. See the opening on the roof lid. It’s not part of the vehicle itself or the cruiser would have elements total it out. I’ve seen this type of stuff already advertised for fire,police, and other rescue operations to protect those expensive drones while transporting them. Hydrolics open the lid and it flies out. Heck, even my God son is a contracted drone pilot for Entergy, his camper shell on the pickup he drives splits in half. The drone (truck bed size flies out and it closes upon landing
