Why all the lying? That's the last flying Martin Mars on its way to the Pima Air & Space Museum in May of last year after it's final flight. Literally nothing in the narration is true. It arrived safe and sound and has been reassembled.
This video captures the Philippine Mars flying boat being transported by road to its new home. The Philippine Mars is a historic Martin JRM Mars, the largest World War II water bomber and one of only two remaining "flying boats" of its type. The aircraft was dismantled at Lake Pleasant, Arizona, and its fuselage was loaded onto a large trailer for the final leg of its journey to the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson. The 150-mile highway trek occurred in May 2025. It is now on public display at the museum after being reassembled.
