The Toyota Prius has a history of battery problems.. from the description you just gave it means you were not following properly the battery maintenance requirements. Toyota will not be honoring your warranty because you are at fault. Additionally, an EMP is not a laser gun. EMPs fire a pulse at a wide area affecting everything around it.
