HOAs bring out the worst in people. NEVER LIVE IN AN HOA IF YOU WANT PEACE.

I told my realtor if she showed me anything that fell under anything close to an HOA she would be fired on the spot.

the judge used a common sense approach along with the legal side letting the HOA president know that she just violated Grandma's civil rights along with her rights under the ADA after his ruling he should have told the HOA president that he was referring this to the US Attorneys Office for an investigation to possible criminal charges against her and the entire HOA board along with the association itself I hope Grandma hired herself a good personal injury lawyers What would happen with the jury after Wheelchair bound grandma testifys about the emotional trauma and mental anguish she suffered as a result of the HOA fines and the attempt to have the concrete walk removed her harrowing experience as she was stuck in the dirt and gravel walkway for 30 minutes the bailiff would be handing out boxes of tissues to the entire jury who could just picture their own grandmas

Am actually with the HOA on this one. Once one does it the floodgates open. Submitting a request to the HOA would have taken 30 minutes top. If they wouldn’t approve it quickly, or denied it, then you take them to court or just go ahead and build it.
