I was in the Marine Corps 1973-1977. I never heard of this when I was in. A friend of mine at Camp LeJeune, he was a Force Recon and he never said a thing about something like this.Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant

no, absolutely nothing to do with the United States Marine corps. The final test of the United States Marine corps is the crucible. at Parris Island, you wander around an airstrip and complete obstacles. in San Diego, you wander around the woods completing obstacles. The obstacles are incredibly challenging and require a lot of effort, so don't take that statement is something that's easy.
