On her 39th birthday, she reportedly went out with her friends and was driven to a bar and left there. Her husband that same day got back DNA tests and confirmed his kids were his brother-in-law's who died by suicide three years earlier, leaving a "love note" for his sister. Apparently, she never made it home, and for 16 years, she was considered a missing person. In 2019 this video was posted by Karel and reported by Facebook.
