My mother-in-law died Feb 5, 2025, and my husband quit his job to care for her in our home. I just told him tonight at dinner that he did an amazing thing for his mom his commitment to caring for her was so loving to watch yet so heartbreaking when she took her last breath. She couldn't walk and was a demanding cuss but he did an amazing job caring for her. This Gentleman makes me smile.
My mom had Alzheimer’s for 16 years, and we finally talked dad into having mom live in an adult care home with 6 other ladies. He had cared for her in our family home for 9 years, but she would sneak outside in her slip, and get up in the night and turn on the burners, on the stove, and he would sleep right through it. We were fortunate to find a home in the country and dad would go walk her twice dad. She had grown up on a farm,!so she enjoyed the sheep next door,!the horses and cows out in the field where they walked by. She died on Christmas Day 2002, and mom knew him right up to the end. This is such a touching scene. This man loves his wife so much!🥰

I saw my grandma with my grandpa like this, they had lost a 18 yr old son, she said losing grandpa was harder than losing her son, seeing this got me too emotional😭😭😭
