that happen to me my the line to the toilet washer crack and came a loose a.it happen over nite water everywhere .so I shut off the valve by the base of the toilet and that stop the water running. call land lord unless u are the owner. u need a dry vacuum for days until dried up. my beams was expose d like that ,sheet rock fell from ceiling n living room.was it your bath room toilet.

Should have changed your hvac filter. Unit not getting enough airflow causes a freeze, shuts off and ice melts. Usually happens to people who smoke weed inside to much. Welcome home.
