I did the same damn thing the other day to cut down a rubbish tree but instead of a big ass 🪝 I just cut a fat piece of a branch instead. and a had to toss it over a house to get it around the branch I had to cut frist so when it did fall it wouldn't have taken a part of the roof with it.
know how to get it down?
