stores have taken major loses from shopping carts leaving their properties and being damaged. homeless taking carts using these carts to lug around their stuff. that is why many stores no longer offer patrons the use of carts outside of the store. some of stores have offered a smaller version of a cart to shop with indoors only and you need to provide your own bag to put your merchandise in at check out🥺.
