Do your job and save the child's life. The parents came with her to the ER, if they weren't willing to allow you to save her life then they should have refused medical treatment. They gave their consent by coming to the hospital .
Sir, you took an oath, to save lives. They rushed the child to the ER, I would save the child and call child services to protect the child . God doesn't say to let your child die, or abuse a child. 馃檹 That would fall under child neglect.

It would still be dependent on local laws and the courts if parents took action against the doctor or hospital.

For me, that's easy. First, I'd point out that the Bible says that the life is in the blood. Leviticus chapter 17. By receiving transfusion one is not "eating" blood. No life is being lost in order to save another; instead life is prolonging life. Scripture trumps religious persuasion.

This is where the hospital legal team gets involved and goes before an emergency hearing before a judge. He decides and the outcome protects the hospital and Dr from lawsuit.

colton I used to work with a j w and yes that's what they believe in i guess the truth u can't go against the parents so it's a tuff one to be involved in it really brakes my heart that they would just let the child die. I d k it's one of those situations we're you just wish u had of laid out that day
