This is all true but what can we do? My house has been paid for the last 15 years but I can still loose it if I don’t pay the property tax every six months. They say it’s for schools, roads and public services. I have no kids in school, roads are full of pot holes and I haven’t used public services since I’ve lived here.

I think it's okay to charge a set payment for electric and water simply because they plumbed it to the homes and they brought the electricity to our homes. like for a family of five and let's say the home is 2500 square feet. electric $200 to $250 a month. Water $50 to $60A month. I think that would be fair and you can kind of chart it from there. And that would be for maintaining, the power grid power Poles and the water that's the way I feel.
