If you come at my daughter wtha belt one of us is going to get hurt and it won't be my daughter. A grown man with an intention of hitting a child is a bully. All you are going to teach that child is fear.
I know it’s not real but I don’t like any insinuation of a child being hit. My father was a mean bastard with the belt and didn’t really know when to stop because of his out of control temper. May he rest in hell for that until whom hit beat comes to say if they forgive him

Sadly, abuse is not discipline and should NOT be confused with the other. Thankfully, I only had to use the belt one time for my son to get the message and he learned quick. We're proud of the young man he's turned out to be and he literally thanked me for not letting him get away with anything. I reminded him that out of all my siblings, I got the belt more and I was the only girl and my dad's twin.
