Not me! I have a friend who, when we were kids used a washing machine motor to make his table saw. I was 13 years old. I'm 68 years old now and still carry a scar down the middle finger of my left hand from the blade catching me. Do not, DO NOT make a table saw of any kind in this manner. Right tool for the right job. This is not it.

now your skillsaw is stuck in a table when you need a quick cross cut. every builder worth his balls should have a table saw a skilsaw (circular saw) a sawzall ( reciprocating saw) and a chop saw. if you're good you also bring a radial arm saw and a mitresaw on the truck. jigsaws are for children.

Perhaps some safety glasses would be a good idea

No guard, this falls along the line of play stupid games win stupid prizes. Just because you can do something does not make it right.

As someone who has taken a good chunk of his thumb off due to a homemade table saw mishap, let me say no. Just friggin’ no. I did the fence pretty much the same way this guy did it. It tends to loosen up over time. And that’s when the troubles start….

What is that, 5/8"...maybe 3/4" PARTICLE BOARD ? 😳🥴 So this is a 'one time use' thing. I'm not even sure about one time.

step 1: cut a plywood base on your tablesaw.
