just use a torch and heat it up and press it on then pull it off use red hot and glue it back on ....or get a connector because that ain't gonna work long.

If you're going to do that, at least make the connector a foot long and use proper pipe glue. That should make leaks less likely short-term, although I agree that the best way is with the proper materials. But in an emergency, I suppose this might work for a day or two, while you get the right parts.
