I thought ICE was arresting people bc they're illegal immigrants with criminal histories.... shouldn't that be the reason, bc they here illegally? If they have violated our laws (child abuse), shouldn't they be tried here? And the police arresting them? How will they be prosecuted for a crime they committed in US when they're deported to whatever country? If my child was abused and the person was here illegally, I'd want my day in court to make sure they're punished, not just flown somewhere else and then who knows what happens. Also, having child sex offenders just moved around to another country, and not punished, seems like it's perpetuating the issue and just allowing more abuse to continue in our world. Part of the reason this shit is so out of control is bc you have authority figures just stepping out of their lane and everyone is trying to do someone else's job. Be nice if they'd work together to actually get and prosecute criminals.
