You do not get that many fries in a small fry bag at the McDonalds in my town (Northern Virginia). The medium fries have more than the small, and the large fries is a lot more than the medium.

As a person who used to manage multiple McDonald's restaurants 20 years ago, we had scales to teach employees how to fill the fry containers. Small was under 3 Oz, med was about 4, large was about 6 and supersize was about 7. It was a long time ago so I don't remember the exact weight.
