That just shows the common sense shown by so many police. Why won't they show the radar speed recorded? Why do we have to take their word for it? It's not right to be charged without proof of the charge given. I know police are always up front ,and totally honest. But I also think cows with wings are not real, and just because you said they were, well I'd need some proof in order to believe that. I personally have had police lie about circumstances and have watched them cover up their own mistakes by lying. So why not show me the radar? What's to hide? The truth?

He don't want to show the speed because it is not locked in. Back in 80's if some one ask me to see my radar it was on the dash and I would have them come back and see it. I also left the speaker with the Doppler tone turned up on purpose they would ask what is that and I would explain how each return was a different tone from the speed and with visual observation as well as tone I could verify my target I wrote many a ticket. Never one for under 10 over and never had one challenged in court Instead of being a tyrant maybe you should treat people like people you get a lot more respect. If I were the governor of a state I would take a big interest in law enforcement and reshape them to be respected again. I just hate to see what a lot of cops have turned into today, But we still have the majority of good people as cops yet today but the ones that are identified makes it bad on the good ones. They need to be weeded out and fired

Legally, police officers have to show proof of your speed. And if you ask them if their radar has been calibrated within the last 6 months, they also have to show you proof of that that's federal law, which overrides state law, so them officers were in the wrong

The military enlisted or officers are subject to disciplinary action over such an incident. Because they are in uniform they will comply to the law enforcements commands. Out side of that they are in their own.

A state trooper tried this one on my son. saying he was speeding .He claimed he followed us from the stoplight he followed us until we got outside of town but the problem was there was a sports car a white Chevy truck and my sons KIA when we all got to the third stoplight the sports car turned left and the pickup went right he followed.Hisbprol us for about 3 more miles before he turned his lights on he didn't think we show up for court him and the county attorney thought it was going to be an easy $800 ticket .But the state trooper lied he said their was only our car he completely left out there was a truck in front of us. my son admitted his cruise was set for 5 Miles over the speed limit so he got a $50 finerTo top it off he wasn't even the one who pulled us over. When he left court he smarted off well zi guess I'll have to watch the film again
