OK, so you’re telling me the only right decision he could’ve made was to stand there and let her throw scolding boiling water on him? How the fuck is that right?
Some of y'all may not have known what really lead up to the shooting. So, I'll share it. She was known to her killer. His wife worked at the facility where the victim gets her psych medicine and the two of them had an altercation at couple of days before the shooting. He was angry about and was still upset about how his wife was feeling about some of the things the victim said to her. His partner asked him where they were at this lady house after had existed the police vehicle and and had walked around her house. She heard noises and called the police to ask for help after hearing these noises. He told dispatch that he would handle the call because he was in the area. He turned off his body camera but his partner didn't. He went to her door. And the rest is recorded on his partner's body cam video. She knew who he was when she opened the door but she never knew it would end like that!! He went there to put her in her place.
I hope he gets his ion the yard…

if people call the police and tell them that a person has mental health issues, shouldn't they request for a mental crisis team to help them along with mental crisis training prevention to keep from going to a deadly situation. especially when it's a crisis 😭 this could have been prevented.
