There is the show "Dangerous Catch" that follows these guys in the Bering Strait and North Sea which are two of the most brutal places to go crabbing or fishing. This is real and sometimes these guys get caught in those swells. You can't even strap into a harness bc if you go overboard you can get trapped against the boat and water. Big money for these jobs but big danger too. There is no going back once you're out there.

I was a deckhand on commercial long line fishing vessels in the Bering Sea for 10 years. Worked in a lot worse conditions in the winter that this video shows.
