The problem is the idea of credit or loans in general, we shouldn’t be buying something if we can’t fully afford it, cuz it gives the average poor person the idea that these “middle class” people are actually well off but they really aren’t, they just borrow money and hope over time they are successful enough to pay it on time, for example let’s say they buy a Mercedes and they are on a 4 year finance loan plan but at the 22 month they are struggling financially, and they get the car repossessed, and later when they financially recover a little they get another car, the poor person just thinks he got tired of the car and got a new one, because everything is borrowed so even tho he struggles he’s able to seem like he’s not, but if he didn’t recover, his life would be runed because he has a harder time recovering after bad credit and bad history , bankruptcy only helps so much
