thats not parenting but befriending the child. he could have told mom he got this and cll used the door and reasoned with the daughter on how to handle things properly for next time. we supposed to teach children how to reason with consequences in mind. then take the iPad but talk to mom about how you feel about needed punishment not belittle her form of punishment as if it means nothing. help children to reason well and calmly discuss parental differences.... if kid do t get , next time deal harsher
