there's nothing wrong with liking anime but come on now, there's a difference between an interest and obsession. Why would you name your kid after an anime character the name isn't even nice either, when I was 11 I wanted to name my future daughter Usagi from sailor moon glad I left my anime phase. π
Obviously we don't live in Japan and even they wouldn't name their child after a character. The name alone proves that she is mentally immature. It's her way or no way. Parents are supposed to make life easier for their kids, she sat on a course that's going to make that kid's life hell. In turn is most likely going to make the kid resent her because of it. Proving she's right to make something into a public spectacle shows her ment immaturity.
