This has been used for years. It keeps the kids from getting lost, running off, etc. They are perfectly fine and safe.
This is called safety so the little one’s don’t get lost or stop them from running off this been going on for years
I don't know about anybody else but I remember when I was a kid they actually had wrist leashes I remember seeing other kids tethered like that that was in the '80s I knew better than to run away from my parents they would have whoop my ass

They use these alot. Each kid is safe. close, accounted for without the worry of one running off.
