My Dad came to see me first & as I was resting, napping.. I woke to see my Dad the only one in the room with me! Sitting in a chair so close to my bed..holding my hand..It was that way with every surgery I had.. he was the one with me.. I was always a Daddy’s girl & even now he’s gone.. I’m still a Daddy’s girl! I miss him so much!😢
FIL is a sweet man for checking of his DIL first. His mom raised him well to respect and take care of the women in his life first I bet. He shows respect for women who birth the gift of life. God bless the family 💕🌸💕

Dad's are the best. I sure miss mine. He's been gone since December of 2014. He was such a hero in my eyes. He marched for unborn babies and the right to live. Even at 89 years old He always thought of others. Jim Asher, my hero.
I’m retired 20 years active duty, US Air Force . I had my older son on the island of Guam , my daughter in Germany , and my youngest son in Las Vegas, Nevada , and my mom flew to each of those places every time I had my babies when l was in the US Air Force.
That is what dadys do. My children miss their dady so much.

My dad was in and out of my "holding" room since I was only 3 cm (1st baby), but contractions were off the chart. While my husband went to get me registered, dad came in and told jokes during contractionIt hurt to laugh, but I focused on him, not the contractions. Miss him, passed away 1n 1996 at 76 yrs young.

That's how my father-in-law was for me. His wife took a vacation to Scotland when I was due and missed the delivery of her grandchild, which made him so angry at her. He came to visit me daily to check on me, and peek on the baby.

Actually it makes me sick & uncomfortable. I instantly go to mistrust & questioning his motives. Maybe I'm just cynical because of my own experience. My FIL in my 1st marriage started trying to touch me inappropriately & sexually harassing me in the few months between my 1st husband & I getting married & getting pregnant with our 1st child. I was constantly in fear & anxiety. I didn't tell anyone mainly because I loved my MIL so much & I didn't want her to get hurt. I also didn't want to cause any huge rift in the family. So I dealt with his disgusting actions for almost 4 yrs until it was so unbearable that I finally told my husband. My MIL excused his actions by saying that they hadn't had sex in 10 yrs. Apparently, that made it OK. Needless to say I immediately lost all respect for her. I regretted not speaking up alot sooner instead of suffering in silence. So for me, the FIL in this video just brings back horrible memories.

My dad was at home when it was time for me to push. I cried to my mom that I wanted my daddy. She called him from my room. As soon as he heard me crying he dropped the phone and rushed back to the hospital. So when my 2nd child was born he never left my room. 🥰 I miss him everyday 😭
