"we gotta do extra good" that right there is a good attitude to have young man! 👍
Nice to see kids outside working. When we were kids we got exited when it snowed we made $ shoveling and then had tons of fun playing in the snow.
I remember back in the 1980s we went to a house and kids answered the door and said their mother said she’ll pay us $10 each if we shoveled their snow, despite us telling them we were charging $5 each. We were so freakin excited and did a spectacular job. When it was time to pay we found out there was not even an adult home because the mother arrived just after we were finishing up. She said she wasn’t paying us because her kids were told to shovel the snow before she left. We put all of the snow back.
Good deeds are rewarded 👍🏼
I live in NW Pennsylvania and we just got over 24 inches of snow in the last few days. And unfortunately there are no kids out there doing this. It’s such a shame, we hustled back in my day.
Hell yeah, that's a good way to motivate kids to work.Do an extra good
I used to do the same thing! it teaches good work ethic, I also had a lemonade stand and anytime I see kids selling lemonade I'll stop and buy a cup. they're asking a dollar I'll give him five because it's something that will instill decent ethics into these kids. and we all know that these kids need some good work ethic nowadays👍
we've been dying for a young man to come and offer at our house but no takers so far. he clearly was raised right saying he'll make it extra good. well done young man
Paying it forward 🥰
So appreciative. God bless them and the giver.🙏🏼
I offered 2 kids, that live across the street $20 each to shovel for me. I just had a shoulder replacement surgery. They came twice & did such a good job I gave them $50 each. Then on Monday, I needed help cleaning off my van. I can't lift my arm up that high. I offered $20 each again. I gave them $30 each. These kids were great! Mom & dad are raising them right. I'm on disability & really can't afford it but, it was worth it.
thank you, that was so nice
they deserve it
I also got some Popsicles in the cellar 😆
Kids don’t do stuff like this anymore, I made over 200 bucks with my best friend one day, then blew it all at the mall the same day lmao
When we were young in Maine we used to get1 dollar to split between 4 kids. 1956
love this , instead of home on video games or hokding on the back of car bumpers tese kidsxare doin what we did , i remember getting 5 to 10 bucks a house back in the 70s lol, gettin hot chocolate from a senior citizen whi coukdnt afford to pay us . my mom always sent us over there, to help her do snow and cut her grass for free . but it was worth it for the cookies and hot chocolate lol . 👍👍😎😎💯💯
You just instilled work ethics, kindness in these children, simple things like this puts kids on the right path!!
I was just whining about no kids asking to do this anymore
kid needs boots! looks like he has sneakers on. brrrr
I like that they are gonna do extra good
I did it in the 80s im still doing it today
What a great guy remembering when he did it and knew just how hard and cold it was.And those young men’s attitude was great.
Good Kids, Good Dude too. He didn't try nd take advantage of the hard working kids and was definitely Fair. God Bless2
I would give them $50.00 each just for being out in the cold and being responsible instead inside playing 🎮
I’m 63 and this is what my friends and I did in the winter. We would go trailer to trailer and ask for 2, 3 $$….feels good to know kids will still do this
the lesson that this empathetic and knowledgeable man has provided to these two young workers will last forever in there life experience. They immediately equated value with progress. It is correct to teach value of one work, and the value of working hard to receive your objective
It's great that the kids were so happy and want to do extra good. We don't get much snow here is South Louisiana.
now that's the American wahy we do thing
Enterprising kids, not afraid to put in the effort to work for money, instead of expecting Mom and Dad to just hand it to them. Kudos! 👍
dude yes I hope he gives raises and bonuses cause those kids will get better and better and do something with their life and not do crack
I love these kids.Theyre so appreciative for the opportunity.Too many kids these days just expect things be given to them.Great jobs kids.
Love seeing this! My daughter and her friends are out now shoveling in our area earning some extra money. 🥰
That homeowner said 50 as in 50 cents NOT 50 DOLLARS! 🤔😲
When my son was 9 or 10, he and his cousin were out shovelling. An elderly lady asked them what they charged, and they said $1! When she exclaimed "A $1!" they decided she must be poor and offered to do it for a quarter!😆
outstanding ♡♡♡♡♡
THIS YOUNG MAN IS A BLESSING TO HIS NEIGHBORHOOD. I LIVED IN CALIFORNIA DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT STUFF BUT I'M PROUD TO BE SCARED FOR SPEAKING UP AND SAYING THEY CAN HELP. THEY'RE GOING TO GO FAR IN THEIR LIFE I'M PROUD OF YOU GUYS GOOD JOB👍👍👍👍👍😊😊🌹💯
I remember doing this as a kid way back in the day. I loved when it snowed so I could make a lot of money. 😊
I used to do this a lot when I was a youngster. As soon as the snow stopped we went out with shovels. Usually did alright mo my Rey wise. Then would get home a complain that I had to yet shovel our walk and driveway. Was greet when I was being paid. Of course my Dad would say well fine but we will have to deduct all the free food we provided. Needless to say I shoveled our walk and driveway.
i used to do that for peanut butter cookies back in the early 70s. Good times!
This happened at my house. They only got 30 bucks tho!
As it should be. Giving them the job that they wanted and paying well they learn hard work pays. Rewarding a job well done and building character. Their desire to earn the money they want or need is refreshing.
💕I love this! You can come shovel at my house next guys!…
Now this is how children LEARN to work hard for what they want in life and not just expect things... 👍🙏
The fact that they're willing to work for it makes me smile.
Good for you young guys
Future Real Men!!!
I love this guy... he made their day! They were so excited.
I like to see young kids trying to earn money. The man was so nice to the boys
I love the homeowner already. You are awesome and a good man for doing that 👍
That’s was so nice of you my nephew just went an shocked for $20 in his neighborhood 😂
That was so awesome of that guy! We used to do it for an elderly lady, she would always try to give us cash, but we knew she didn't have much, so we shoveled for cookies!! She made cookies just like my Nana did lol come to find out they went to the same church 😂😂😂
It’s ai

I made mad money doing this as a kid. I had regulars by the age of 12
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s what I did when I was a kid
I used to do it . thanks for helping those boys out.
As a girl, I would shovel snow, cut grass, and wash cars to make money. There's nothing wrong with some hard ward if you want to make some money! I hope these boys made a lot of money that night!!!
That's the way to be successful in life.
🫶🫶
Totally worth $50 I did this when I was a kid living in Buffalo and the most I ever got was $10 I put it towards my Christmas money
I used to do that too when I was a wee lad in Missouri.
yesssss love it...
that's a good man there, remember what it was like when he was a youngster trying to make a little money.😁
Thats a Great attitude. Keep it up Fellas
Aww this was so sweet
That is so nice… he also has those 2 boys for life! 😊
It teaches kids good work ethics along with other valuable skills. Also that money doesn’t go far
