I was driving through MO and stopped at a roadside stand. The guy was selling the big oblong watermelons. I wished I'd bought more because it was the best watermelon I ever had.

It's an heirloom melon that has not been genetically modified to prevent seeds from growing within. GMOs are real fruits that were produced by scientists to grow more prolifically, quicker, and use less water and to endure certain weather constraints. They often lack the flavor, taste, and smell that heirloom fruits and vegetables have. They are produced to provide a larger harvest to feed the masses. I don't care for them and believe that life has been designed right out of them. They may look better outwardly, but beyond that, they are a massive disappointment.👍

Reminds me of passing through Bill Clintons home town years ago. Hope, Arkansas claims to be water melon capital of the world. We bought a delicious 80 pound water melon.
