There's truth to this. but here's where things differ. the secure communities initiative changed from people without a criminal record to those with criminal convictions. democrats recognized issues with our boarders and addressed it. families were not torn apart and mostly those CONVICTED of crimes or posed a threat to our national security were deported. Obama inherited this problem from, none other than George bush, a devout republican. people were not being murdered or sent to concentration camps. hard working, tax paying illegals were afforded the opportunity to legally address their status before being deported. what occurred then, pales in comparison to what is happening now.
